SHAH ALAM, June 23 — The government is aiming to discharge 200,000 individuals by year end, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, with about 186,000 people having been released from bankruptcy already.

PUTRAJAYA, July 25 — The government has succeeded in surpassing the bankruptcy release target, with 142,510 cases under the Second Chance Policy, compared to the initial target of 130,000 cases, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 — Civil servants released from bankruptcy by the Insolvency Department under the Second Chance Policy are urged to utilise the opportunity given by the government to improve their financial health.
